Rene Marie Russo, an American actress and filmmaker who was a former supermodel is also a director of films. Known for her elegant beauty her endurance in the popular film industry speaks to her talents and abilities as an actress. Her first job was as a fashion model in 1970s. Her rise quickly to a high level in the fashion industry. Then, in the mid 1990s, she began studying theatre and acting. After that, after that, in Los Angeles and California she was the first to appear on stage. In 1987, Russo portrayed Eden Kendell in the ABC drama Sable. Her first movie Major League two years after she appeared as Tom Berengers romantic interest. Although she was initially skeptical of her abilities as an actress, the critics were impressed by her consistency. The praises were centered around her performance of Wolfgang Petersen's Outbreak and also in Outbreak, where she performed with Dustin Hoffman and Morgan Freeman. She admits that she is not particularly interested in acting. She self-imposed a long break in the year 2005. She then made a comeback with Thor. Rose Namajunas is one of the female athletes with the highest success within the UFC. She started her career as an amateur fighter, taking part in numerous regional promotions before signing up with Invicta Fighting Championships and later being a part of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). Namajunas has earned a great deal of recognition since joining the UFC because of her outside and inside the octagon's spotlight. Namajunas was born on June 29th 1991 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to a Lithuanian Immigrant family. Rose participated in kickboxing and basketball throughout her childhood. When she was 18 years old, she began her professional career with Invicta Fighting Championships at which she won two fights through submission. It caught the attention of Dana White who signed her for UFC the strawweight division in December of 2014, when she was just 22 years old. All through Rose's professional career, she's had periods of extremes and lows, but every victory has been hers. In April 2015 Rose fought Carla Esparza for the inaugural Women s Strawweight Championship at The Ultimate Fighter 20 Finale where she won by technical knockout, less than three minutes in Round One winning the title. Not only winning the title but also being named Fighter Of The Night along and making history in MMA as this fight marked first time ever that a women competed for a championship title in any major promotion organization worldwide . Namajunas then went on to win several other fights. She also beat Joanna Jedrzejczyk two times, which earned her Performance Of The Night awards from UFC.
