Rene Marie Russo is an American actor, filmmaker, and ex-supermodel. The stunning elegance of Rene Marie can be seen through her long-lasting career as a performer and actress. She started her career as a model during the 70s, and quickly became one of the biggest people in the modeling industry. Then, in the mid 1990s she was enrolled in acting and theatre. In the years following, after that, in Los Angeles and California she made her first stage appearance. Her first screen appearance was in ABCs 1997 drama Sable, where she played Eden Kendell. In her first feature film Major League two years after she appeared as Tom Berengers romantic interest. Some critics initially doubted her acting skills but her consistent performances impressed them. The performance she gave in Wolfgang Petersen's Outbreak was particularly admired by people who were critical of her performance, because she stood tall against Dustin Hoffman or Morgan Freeman. She admits that she is not particularly interested in acting. After a prolonged break that she took on herself her self-imposed role in the year 2005. After that, she made her return by playing a character in the superhero flick Thor. She also appeared in the Oscar nominated film Nightcrawler that was written and directed by her husband. The Intern, and Just Getting Started were lighthearted comedies with her as the main character.
Rose Namajunas has been one of the most prominent UFC female athletes. She started her career as an amateur fighter, taking part in numerous regional promotions before signing with Invicta Fighting Championships and later signing up with the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). She has gained a lot in recognition since joining UFC due to both her on and off the octagon success. Namajunas was born June 29th on the 29th of June, 1992 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to a Lithuanian immigration family. Rose was a basketball player and kickboxing throughout her growing up. Invicta Fighting Championships made their first professional appearance at age 18. She defeated two competitors. The fights caught the eye of Dana White who signed her to be a part of the UFC's strawweight division December 2014 just at 22 years old. Rose's professional career has experienced highs as well as lows but she's always capable of coming out of the fight on top. Rose took on Carla Esparza at The Ultimate Fighter 20 Finale in April of 2015. Rose was awarded the Women s Strawweight Championship and was also awarded the title of Fighter of the Night. This was the first time a woman competed against a major promotion title. Namajunas continued to have many more victories, including two victories against Joanna Jedrzejczyk that earned her the title of Performance of the Night by UFC.
