Rene Marie Russo, an American film director and actress who is a former supermodel is a director in film. Rene Marie Russo is an American actor, film maker and former supermodel. She's known for her beauty and elegance. Her long-standing presence in the highly competitive world of film showcases her talents as a performer. In the late 1970s, she started modeling and soon became a notable figure in the industry. She was a theatre and acting student from the beginning of the decade. She later appeared on stage in Los Angeles, and other parts of California. Her screen debut came in ABCs 1988 drama Sable In the show, she played Eden Kendell. In her first film Major League two years after, she played Tom Berengers romantic interest. Her character was a constant delight to the hearts of critics who were wary of her acting abilities. Her role in Wolfgang Petersen's Outbreak was particularly admired by people who were critical of her performance, because she stood tall against Dustin Hoffman or Morgan Freeman. Namajunas an immigrant from Lithuania, was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on June 29, 1992. Rose used to play basketball and kickboxing during her youth. At 18 years old she began her professional career with Invicta Fighting Championships where she won two fights by submission. Dana White noticed this and in December 2014, at the age of 22, she signed Rose for UFC's strawweight division. Rose's career has seen highs as well as lows however she has always been able to come out of it on top. Rose was a part of Carla Esparza at The Ultimate Fighter 20 Finale in April 2015. Rose was awarded with the Women s Strawweight Championship and as well, was awarded Fighter of The Night. This was the first time a female competed against a major promotion title. Namajunas continued to have many other victories, including 2 victories against Joanna Jedrzejczyk that earned her Best Performance of the Night award from UFC.
